Visitors who aren't Canadian residents are not covered by our government health insurance plans. That means visitors could end up facing significant out-of-pocket medical expenses if an illness or accident occurs while they're in Canada.

Travel Tip for Parent or Grandparent Super Visa Applicants:  A key requirement for a Super Visa application is to provide proof that you have a minimum of $100,000 private medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company in place. Our Emergency Medical plan can fulfill this requirement.
